nut's first happy hour!

this monday, kayman was craving some fish and chips and a strong stout, so off we went to the library alehouse for happy hour with our friends james/barb & teri/anne. since it was president's day, the place was pretty packed but peanut didn't mind, the company was great and the grub was worth the wait. plus, she was all cozied up in the fleece coverup in her ride, kicking it in the patio venice style. spoken like a true irish(wo)man, "i'm up for a good pint any day" --would make any poppa proud:)

have your cake and eat it too!

a perfect way to wrap up our weekend...with a visit from our dear friend jolie. after a stroll along the walk streets of abbot kinney, we had dinner followed by just scrumptious chocolate cake that jolie had made. nothing like a slice of home made cake to put us all in food coma heaven. i am sure kayman's last meal that night was extra chocolateee:)

kayman and her pal camille went out for a dumpling rendezvous with their parents for chinese new year. Here is camille so festively dressed for the occasion with a lucky red envelope in hand. afterwards, we all went to garth and nysha's pad for a visit. uncle garth took over with peanut duty for a few to give the mommies a break. very nice!

peanut's grandmammy in cali

we love peanut's surrogate grandmammy barbara, who was present at peanut's birth. she came by for a visit last week and we all had tea and cookies. Yum! peanut loves to nap, especially here with barb!

at 6 weeks, all you need is love....

here's the skinny...weighing in at 8 lbs 10ozs., she is eating every 2 hours, sleeping at 3-4 hour spurts during the night.
kayman loves to hang with her posse lulu and casey, her favorite activity is dozin off in her vibrating chair and working on architecture with poppa. in her spare time, she oversees the creative process over in luxepets studio while mom works.
her auntie tina sent her this lovely bib for v-day. it puts a smile on my face...its true...all you need is love (most of the time:)

first visit with pa

kayman's pa came to visit this weekend from the bay area. It was nice to spend some quality time together after our weekend scare in the hospital. kayman is feeling a lot better now, especially after some snuggle time with pa. you can really tell in this photo where kayman's chubby cheeks came from.
